About Om Education Campus
Om education campus has established in 2009 with the aim to provide excellent technical and scientific education to students of Saurashtra region. Om education campus is located in the lap of Girnar Mountain with 18 acres of green lavish area. It is 15 km away from Junagadh Bus station as well as railway station and 60 km away from Keshod airport. Om education developed within a short period and has grown its wings in Degree and Diploma engineering, Bachelor and Masters in Sciences, Bachelor in Commerce and Management.
Om has also developed one of its kinds Om Center for Research and Innovation and first business accelerator and start up cell in association with the Center for Entrepreneurship development Gujarat. Om always focuses on overall development of student; for that, various activities like sports, youth festivals, placements, cultural events, and other holistic festivals are regularly organized in the campus. Students are also motivated to take parts in various national as well as international competitions. Our efforts towards society have leaded us to receive various awards and honour also.
About Junagadh and Surroundings
Junagadh is developed in the rock bottom of Girnar Mountain and it is one of the oldest city of India and seventh largest city of Gujarat. Junagadh is famously known as holy land amongst common people as it has many famous temples around the city. Somnath Mahadev temple is 95km away from Junagadh which is the first of twelve Jyotirling.
Gir forest is just 30km away from the city which is one of the largest forest of Gujarat and it is the home town of Asiatic Lion. Damodar-kund, Uparkot fort, Adi-kadivav, Edicts of Ashoka (Shilalekha of Ashok) etc. are very attractive places to visit at least once in a while.
At the base of Girnar and on the way to the ropeway, this temple is located. As per the Prabhash Khand of Skand Purana, this is a Swayambhu or spontaneous ( Shiva linga is said to have appeared on its own here). Bhavnath temple and Mrigi Kund inside its campus is highly spiritual and historical place at Girnar Taleti.
